Ying Song
Ying studied Early Childhood Education and worked as a preschool teacher in China before coming to the United States in 1996. She then graduated from The Steinhardt School of Education in New York University in 2002 with a master's degree in Bilingual Education. Ying has extensive teaching experience in both public and private schools. During her work at Shuangwen School, Yinghua language school and China Institute, Ying built up an expertise in bilingual curriculum design. She specializes in creating dynamic teaching and learning environments that align with her vision of a globalized community.
Ying is a mother of three children who attend the University of Pennsylvania, the Lawrenceville School and The Collegiate School. Ying is active in the Chinese community and is dedicated to community service as well. She is the founder, Chair of the Board and president of the Chinese American Association of Metropolitan New York (CAAMNY) and the RB (Retinoblastoma) Children’s Foundation.
