Original Oratory

You will create a 10-minute heartfelt, persuasive, entertaining, and thought-provoking speech that is supported by humor and evidence on a topic of your choice. You choose your topic after soul-searching sessions of sharing stories and watching other examples. You get to spend time collaborating with the other students to get their feedback. The teacher will help you to hone your writing and presenting skills. In the last class, you will be presenting your memorized speech to your invited guests.  You will come away with an epic speech that you will be very proud to share with others and to add to your portfolio.
