Public Speaking In-Person Camp

This camp is designed to equip students with fundamental public speaking skills. We will follow the Aristotelian model of communication and cover all of the basics laid out by the famous Greek rhetorician, from mastering speech delivery in all its forms to structuring arguments that will captivate and persuade audiences. By the end of the week, students will be able to deliver both prepared and impromptu speeches with confidence for classroom, professional, and competitive settings. Students will be trained for both preparation and delivery of a speech. Delivery skills include: Tone, Hand gestures, Eye contact, Speed/Pacing etc.  

Each student will receive a recording of their final presentation.
