Storytelling

Storytelling can help kids develop language skills and foster creative thinking. Kids can learn presentation skills and organizational thought when telling stories. Storytelling is more than just reading the words of a story out loud. In this weeklong course, students will:

• Learn the interactive art of using words and actions to reveal the elements and images of a story

• Practice telling a cohesive engaging story with gestures, vocal mechanics, characterization, and appropriate pacing
